We have a solution. We can come along and stay at your home and care for your pets and your property. We will be there for most of the time each day.
We have been married for almost 30 years and are now in our mid fifties, non-smokers, quiet living, respectable and honest. We have chosen house sitting as a way of life for the next few years. We truly love this lifestyle choice. It's a great way to see the country, meet new people, be surrounded by loving animals and create memories.
TAKING CARE OF YOUR HOME

Bring the mail in each day so the letterbox never looks overcrowded. A sure sign the owners have gone away for a while |

Take out the garbage and bring the bins back inside for you |

Clear messages from your answering machine so it never gets overloaded which can give an impression you are not home |

Have the lights on during the evening to give your home a 'lived in' look |
|
Our cars will be coming and going during the day and evening so all neighbours will see 'life' around your home |
|
Mow the lawn and do general gardening upkeep for the time of year to keep you home from looking abandonded |

We will also arrange some supplies to save you having to start shopping and cooking on arrival i.e. bread, milk, some veggies and fruit. A gift from us to you |

If you choose you can come home to a freshly made bed with clean sheets |

TAKING CARE OF YOUR PETS
We will care for your home and pets with the same pride as we did with our own. We didn't have children so our pets have been like our kids. We believe in positive reinforcement training when living with all animals. We would never hit or mistreat any animal.
We TRULY love all animals and have had pets for the last thirty two years (cats and dogs). Sadly all have gone now so would love the chance to cuddle and spoil yours while house sitting for you.
- We have a lot of experience with large and small dogs and cats young and old and all that can entail
- Older pets are fine with us, all of ours lived a long time, we appreciate they have more specific needs as they age
- Pet medications and special needs will be fine. We have cared for many pets who needed tables, creams, eye drops etc
- We do understand some pets may have certain fears and / or phobias. We also have experience with dogs who fear thunder storms
- If your pet requires cooked food we can manage that as we did this for one of our dogs for 15 years
- Many of our pets have been rescue animals, we are used to being flexible with them and are very experienced in finding ways around separation anxiety
- We have no problem with indoor pets or them sleeping on the bed etc if that's their normal behaviour
- If required we would not hesitate taking your pet to the Vet of your choice if we feel there is a problem

We are quite prepared to go along with the normal behaviours and routines of your pets. For example, remaining indoors or outdoors - on or off the furniture - sleeping on beds etc

So far our house sitting experiences have included, dogs, cats, sheep, horses, ducks, chooks, hens, geese, canaries, cattle and even an emu
- All your pets will be cared for by us. We are genuine pet lovers and will make sure they are walked, played with, cuddled and kept company while you are away
We have lived in all sorts of places, flats,
apartments, houses, inner city, outer suburbs, small rural properties and farms. We are quite adaptable to all circumstances.
We know what it's like to live with tank water. septic tanks, bottled gas and many issues of rural living. We also very much enjoy city and town living.
