Robyn and Tony have been a client since February 2002, bringing their four pets in regularly for veterinary attention. Their quickness in having their pets attended to at the clinic as soon as any problems arose was testimony to their level of care and concern for their well being. Vets All Natural - Castlemaine - 2009 We were fortunate enough to be chosen by Robyn and Tony who housesat for us on the Gold Coast while we were in Tasmania for two weeks recently. After a few chats with Robyn on the phone and a couple of emails I knew we had connected with someone who loved animals as much as we did and who we would have no qualms at all at leaving in charge of our "4 legged family" and our home! After meeting Robyn and Tony and answering all the questions they had for us about how we wanted everything looked after we knew we had chosen well and that they were sensible organised people who would be able to handle any problems that could arise while we were away. Robyn sent us emails and kept us up to date and when she told us they were a bit concerned about one of our Dogs not being well we had no hesitation in agreeing to them taking him to the vet. He then had to have tablets,drops and ointment applied twice a day which Robyn and Tony did in such an exemplary way that by our return 'Jackson' was well and happy again. We returned to a lovely clean home with food in the fridge ,happy animals and hopefully two new friends that we may have the pleasure of meeting up with again. We checked references which all came through glowing. We had several good phone chats and they can came up to Sydney to meet the dogs and see the house. They looked after the dogs and the house very well, including the challenge of dealing with one of the dogs getting bitten by a snake. We were impressed with their handling of the situation. After many years of various very nice housesitters I can say without a shadow of doubt that Robyn and Tony were the best we've ever had. We spent a couple of days together with Robyn and Tony going through all the needs of the animals and the general running of things before we went away, so I was able to go away quite relaxed and comfortable that everything including animals, property, and any crisis that may have arisen was in good capable and practical hands.This proved to be absolutely spot on, as Robyn kept us informed of the animals progress, plus certain business papers that arrived and needed attending to,which they kindly forwarded on to us immediately. They put a lot of effort into spoiling our dogs and helping them to feel comfortable with new people so they obviously did not fret.The animals were obviously more than well looked after but also thoroughly loved and pampered which was comforting to me to know that other people not only fed and excersized our pets, but actually cared for them as we did. The same applied to our home which Robyn cared for well over and above the call of duty as far as housesitters go.We came home to lovely clean freshly made beds just waiting for weary travellers which was such a pleasure after camping for five weeks. UPDATE we have been invited back to house sit but have not had available dates "Robyn and Tony spent six weeks housesitting for us in August-September, 2009 on our 10 acre property on the Mornington Peninsula. Our house sitters in the past had been known to us and this was our first experience with using a website to find people to look after our property. Luckily we found Robyn and Tony who were available at the time. Robyn and Tony are honest, reliable and friendly people. They respected our property and personal belongings and they obviously love animals. The dogs, cat and chooks were extremely well cared for as were the rest of our animals (sheep and alpacas). Both Robyn and Tony clearly have a real love of dogs and this showed in the affinity they had built up with our two dogs in such a relatively short time. We appreciated the time and thought that went into the care they gave to our pets. In addition, although we had not asked them to do it, they were very warm and helpful with our elderly mother/mother-in-law who lives a few kilometres away. Our house and property were very well cared for and when we arrived home the house was as we had left it. It can be disconcerting making arrangements for the care of your beloved pets via a website, but after speaking with Robyn over the telephone, it was evident that she and Tony loved being around dogs and were quite experienced with dogs. We were able to arrange a meeting prior to my trip and we discussed the dogs’ habits and routines. They also made a good suggestion on arranging a treatment plan with the vet in advance, in the event that an incident occurred while I was away. My 10 year old dog, Reg, is beginning to show the signs of arthritis in one of his legs and we discussed various treatments on the market – and Robyn suggested one particular treatment that had exhibited success with her dog. I felt very confident that my dogs were in good hands. My dogs are very loving and boisterous and Robyn and Tony took such good care of them. They sent me regular updates over email to let me know how the dogs were doing. The dogs were very happy and healthy when I returned and it was evident that they had a great time with Robyn and Tony. Both the house and garden were clean and well tended. I have no hesitation in using Robyn and Tony again for future house sits. I know Benny thoroughly enjoyed being pampered by both of you and especially having your undivided attention. For us it was a novel experience to go away and not worry about Benny the entire trip. We did miss him terribly and were so grateful for the updates and photos via email. Thanks for looking after Benny’s medical needs, including visits and phone calls to the vet. The list does go on- as I do have to mention the home cooked veg in his diet which I know he loved. Helen and Eric Woodend House Sit UPDATE we have been invited back to house sit but have not had available dates "My husband, Greg and I have just had the very good fortune to have had Robyn and Tony house and pet sit for us for seven weeks while we enjoyed a break in sunny Queensland. After an initial meeting with them earlier in the year, we felt very confident that all our needs would be met while we were away. We have had house/pet sitters in the past to look after our much loved dog, Gypsy and have come home for find a fairly insecure dog. Not so this year! I have no hesitation in saying that Gypsy loved every minute we were away because Robyn and Tony made it their business to make Gypsy their top priority. She was not left at home on her own for long lengths of time; wherever they went, Gypsy went too - whether that was shopping, having a latte, or a walk along Sorrento pier. Our comfortable home, meticulously renovated by Greg over several years was also very well looked after. We came home, not only to a clean house, but little extras were also evident with flowers in vases and food in the fridge. Robyn and Tony have been friendly and very accommodating. We received regular phone calls while away to reassure us that everything was going well. They forwarded mail and alerted us to a possible problem with a neighbour. Since leaving, they have contacted us again to make sure we were happy with everything. Our hope is that they will sit for us again in the future. We are delighted to highly recommend Robyn and Tony - not only do they genuinely love pets, but they are responsible, friendly and house proud. In our opinion, you could not leave your home and pets in better hands.
