Here we recommend some lovely businesses we have come across while traveling around house sitting. It seems to us that if we can help showcase some of these places we all benefit.

The owner of the business hopefully gets more exposure on the internet and an increase in sales.

We stay in some lovely areas and get to know some of the locals so it's nice for us to pay forward their friendship and hospitality as we travel to new places.

At times we may even get a commission if you buy from them. That's not always going to be the case, but it will help us with our income as we are never in one place long enough to find casual employment. We will NOT be placing just any business here, they will all be genuine recommendations.

CASTLEMAINE ACCOMMODATION

Castlemaine is where we lived for the last nine years and is a very popular place for visitors as it is so close to Melbourne and is the center of the Goldfields.

There are times when the whole town gets booked out as large groups often go to Castlemaine. As locals we recommend you stay here. We know this place to be great value and feel very confident recommending it for you.
